When it comes to pranks, I am the one to call. I've always pulled pranks on people ever since I was little. I've had many experience with many different kinds of pranks from scaring prank to calling pranks, but I personally prefer the scaring pranks overall. If you want to know how many times I've scared my friends, ask them. They won't even know what number to start at. I did decide to pull a prank on my own mother once. At night, she always tucks my siblings in for bed and she always leaves the bathroom light on for a nightlight. But one night I sneaked into the bathroom and hid behind the door. The light switch was behind the door right by were I was standing so my mom had to reach around the door in the dark to turn it on. She walked into the bathroom and reached around the door to flip the light switch but I grabbed her arm and let out a blood curdling scream. She basically had a series of mini heart attacks because she was screaming like there was no tomorrow.
The only thing I could do was fall on the ground, suffocating because I was laughing so hard. My mom had to realize what had happened before she started chasing me across the house. I ran through my parents bed room and saw my dad lying in bed laughing. He was laughing because he already knew what I had done and heard it. Finally when I had reached a dead end, my mom grabbed me and started screaming at me while shaking me back and forth. I wasn't scared because I was still laughing. I didn't really have any sort of punishment other than her lecturing me to stop scaring her. I still think that it was worth it because I have never laughed that hard in my life.

When it comes to this "young love" stuff, I don't have very much experience. I've had one experience, though, that changed my point of view towards things. I'm not going to name who the person is, but I did have a love at first sight sort of experience. The feelings that it brought inside me were unlike no others that I have ever felt. These emotions multiply rapidly once you actually talk to the person. I met this girl at the end of the homecoming dance my freshman year. The last song that they played was a slow dance song so me and her danced. The feelings that you get are like no other feelings out there. In ways they are like torture to your insides because you can never get them off your mind. Other times it's satisfying just to see that person walking down the hallway. Though the emotions can be very odd feeling, you have to keep an eye on your school work.
Her and I were talking for a while, getting to know each other better. Some nights we would talk on the phone, and some days we would hangout at the mall. Though the internal feelings were great between us, we later decided to work things out. We decided that we shouldn't start dating because neither of us wanted someone to get hurt. So now we are just friends, but it's probably better that way so someone doesn't get hurt and we never be friends ever again. Before we came to this agreement, I tried to do everything to impress her. But I guess in the end it worked out better this way, so we are both happy and won't get hurt.

It wasn't exactly a friend or sibling that convinced me to do something neat, it was my own father. When my father was a child, he was always the troublemaker type of kid. I was the complete opposite of him as a child; I always obeyed the rules. We took a family trip to Holiday World when I was only around 5 years old. When we got there, I wanted to ride the canoe ride which was just a bunch of canoes that floated around. There was a sign that said don't paddle with your hands but I never saw it. Once I got on the ride, I heard my dad calling my name. I turned around and saw him saying, "Paddle with your hands!". I didn't think it was anything bad because I never knew that you weren't supposed to, until the lady that was managing the line screamed at me to keep my hands inside the canoe. I felt terrible after that and I was furious with my dad for tricking me into paddling with my hands.
I always hated it when I got in trouble because I hated breaking the rules, it's just the way I am. When my dad tricked me I was very angry with him for the majority of the trip because he knew that I didn't like getting in trouble. The trip was fun but after that, I was sure to read all the safety precautions and rules for every ride. I should have expected my dad to be trying to trick me like that but I was only 5, so I didn't really see it coming. Paddling the canoe with my hands wasn't the worst thing in the world, but it was the fact that I got in trouble that upset me. This characteristic of me hasn't changed as time progressed, but I have become more weary of things my dad tells me to do.

In my life I have never really been considered a "bawlbaby". There was one time, though, when we still lived at our house in Makanda. I was around 3 years old and my sister was 1 when my parents decided to play hide and seek with us, without us knowing. My sister and I were searching all around the house, but no one to be found. We didn't know what was going on so we both walked up the stairs, sat down at the top, and started to cry. This is one of the very rare occasions where I was being a big bawlbaby. We just sat there at the top of the stairs crying until my parents finally came out of hiding. I think that this was evenly classified between silly and necessary because since we were really little, we were scared that we lost our parents. There was fear present at the time because the feeling of fear and loss were present. There are only rare occasions were I have done this again. I am never really the type to just let emotions run loose.
The only events of me being a bawlbaby happened when I was a really little kid. One other time that I can recall was when we were camping and I had brought my favorite stuffed lion along. My bike had a little basket on the front so I decided to put my lion in the basket and go for a bike ride. I was having the greatest time of my life but when I got back to my camper, no lion. My lion's name was Leo. I started having a panic attack so my parents and I went looking for him along the trail that I rode my bike on but Leo was no where to be found. I was crying for an entire day straight because me and Leo did everything together. In this case, I think that being a bawlbaby was necessary because I was really attached to my stuffed lion and I had lost him. The feeling that I had in this story wasn't fear but solely the feeling of loss. These are two of the rare occasions of my bawlbaby experiences.

During my 3rd and 4th grade years, I let my temper get a hold of me one day. There days were going by just fine until a bully started picking on me and wouldn't leave me alone. This was going on for a long time before I finally snapped. The bully was your typical bully who follows youa round, calls you names, and pushes you. I was so sick of it that I couldn't even control what happened next. We were on the playground and the bully came up to me and was once again, being a big jerk. That was when I had enough of him. I faced him and and walked right up to him. I clenched my right fist and swung three blows to the stomach. I didn't even have time to think about what had happened. I guess it sort of just slipped out of no where.
There was a punishment when my parents found out about what happened. My dad wasn't really mad at all because he always taught me how to stand up for myself. It was my mom who was angry. She grounded me from all electronics for a month. I couldn't even watch TV. It was probably one of the worst things for a kid to go through. There was literally nothing to do after about a week into that month. It definitely taught me to thnik about my actions before I use them. My mom has always been the one that would punish me the worst. My dad never really punishes me like my mom does. The next time I ever got in trouble, I was sure to let my dad know first before my mom couldn't sentence the punishment.
